Reiki Energy is the Universal Energy that springs forth from the Divine Source of all that is. The technique of harnessing this energy and using it for healing was understood and perfected in Japan. The use of Reiki as a healing art flourished at the turn of the last century and was brought to the United States in the 1950's. Reiki Energy can promote psychological and physical healing of an individual through direct contact and distant healing practices. The Universal Energy uses the practioner as a conduit in which to be directed into the person that is requiring healing. In other words, the practitioner (Reiki attuned individual) can increase the amount of Universal Energy available to the client. The clients directed use of this energy for healing is between them and the Universal Energy. As Reiki Master/Teachers we offer both direct and distant sessions for individuals. In these sessions we direct the Universal Life Force Energy toward the person requesting healing. This could be healing of physical, emotional issues or for specific situations in their life. We hold the intent that the energy be used for the highest good of that individual in our sessions.
